With features like a clinometer, GPS, and compass support, users can accurately measure field sites without the need for a wifi or cell signal. The interface is user-friendly, featuring mostly multiple-choice inputs and large buttons for easy navigation, even with cold fingers.
Avalanche Lab enables users to create professional-quality snow pit diagrams in standard and compact formats, which can be saved as images or PDF files. Additionally, the app supports export formats such as KML maps of avalanches, CAAML xml, and SnowPilot format, allowing for seamless data sharing and collaboration. Moreover, Avalanche Lab can import CAAML v5 snow profiles, facilitating data integration from other software for on-the-go viewing in the field.
